Osato Eugene Uzamere is an experienced New York attorney and founder of Uzamere & Associates, PLLC, a trusted law firm in New York City. With over 30 years of practice, he specializes in real estate law, foreclosure defense, probate and surrogate's court matters, matrimonial and family law, and civil litigation. Mr. Uzamere earned his initial law degree from the University of Benin, Nigeria, and completed advanced legal studies at London Guildhall University (now London Metropolitan University). Before entering private practice, he spent 14 years in public service with the New York City Department of Homeless Services, holding positions including Director of the Emergency Assistance Unit Legal Division, Chief Disciplinary Counsel, Agency Attorney, Quality Assurance Manager, and Fraud Investigator.

A seasoned litigator and longtime member of the Family Court assigned counsel panel, he provides compassionate yet assertive representation in child custody, child support, domestic, and family law proceedings. He also provides vigorous defenses in residential and commercial foreclosure actions, guides clients through probate, estate administration, guardianship, and trust disputes in Surrogate's Court, and delivers practical, results-oriented solutions during life's most complex legal matters.

Mr. Uzamere serves as Chairman of the African Bar Association (North America Region) and Commercial Division Committee Chair of the Squash Federation of Africa. He remains actively engaged in the New York legal community.
